Product Overview
The Zowietek PTZ Controller 7D Joystick Keyboard is a Remote Controls product. It features ndi|hx3 advanced ip video standard support(optional): zowiekbd now fully supports.
Key Features
- NDI|HX3 Advanced IP Video Standard Support(optional): ZowieKBD now fully supports the advanced NDI|HX3 protocol, delivering a superior experience compared to NDI|HX2. It enables seamless discovery of cameras, real-time video monitoring, and precise PTZ control—all with the ultra-low latency and bandwidth efficiency that define the HX3 standard. This integration transforms ZowieKBD into a powerful, next-generation production hub for modern IP-based workflows.
- 5" Real-Time Video Display with 4K High Definition HDMI Out – Your End to Compromised Monitoring: Solves the key PTZ controller pain point of limited visual clarity during operation. The built-in 5" LCD provides essential at-a-glance monitoring, coupled with a 4K/30fps HDMI output that enables high-definition external viewing for precise framing and focus checks. This dual monitoring approach is designed to eliminate the eye strain and guesswork of squinting at small screens during long productions, delivering professional-grade control confidence. *Note: Built-in LCD deactivates when HDMI is connected to prioritize external display performance.
- Smart Camera Auto-Discovery & One-Touch Search: ZowieKBD features intelligent protocol recognition, which instantly detects and connects to a wide range of compatible network cameras. With just one press of the search button, you can select your target protocol (such as NDI(optional), ONVif, or VISCA) to auto-discover all available devices on the network. This eliminates the need for complex manual IP configuration, saving critical setup time—whether you’re in the middle of a live event, a worship service, or a multi-camera production. The result is a swift transition from unboxing to broadcasting, often in just minutes.
- Effortless Multi-Camera Production: ZowieKBD’s advanced Group Control lets you manage up to 4 cameras as one synchronized unit. Save 255 unique group presets for instant recall, with each camera assignable to 10 different groups for ultimate flexibility. Eliminate manual, camera-by-camera operation—achieve coordinated moves, faster setup, and professional multi-camera sequences instantly, without expensive switchers or quad monitors. This streamlined solution cuts costs and transforms your production workflow.
- At a Glance Quad View: it transforms multi-camera production with its integrated 5" display, simultaneously monitoring four video feeds—each clearly labeled with the camera's IP address for instant source identification. This allows live event producers, worship teams, and educators to maintain perfect framing across all angles while monitoring stream health in real time. Unlike basic controllers, ZowieKBD provides dynamic layout control, enabling operators to prevent blind spots, avoid missed shots, and troubleshoot connectivity issues without interrupting the broadcast. The result is a more reliable, professional production with significantly reduced operational complexity.
- Effortless Updates Firmware & Reliable Audio: Always Show-Ready – The ZowieKBD ensures flawless production by keeping both hardware and audio output in perfect sync. Stay updated offline with simple USB firmware upgrades, eliminating dependency on internet connectivity. Its integrated PoE (IEEE 802.3af, 48V) support streamlines your setup by reducing cable clutter. Most critically, the dedicated 3.5mm line-out provides a key advantage: monitor program audio or route a clean feed directly to a recorder or mixer with zero latency—bypassing software entirely for a reliability that many competing controllers lack.
- Professional-Grade Tactile PTZ Control: Six knobs enable smooth, instant adjustment of Pan/Tilt/Zoom, Focus, Exposure, and White Balance, eliminating button delays. Four double as push-button encoders for quick menu navigation and dashboard control. The 7D joystick handles movement/zoom and confirm, while nine custom buttons offer one-touch AI Tracking (VISCA) on/off and programmable colors and functions. It delivers studio-level responsiveness, streamlines workflow, and enhances broadcast efficiency.
- Complete Ecosystem for PTZ Mastery: Unlock centralized control with our software-powered ecosystem. ZowieX instantly discovers Zowietek devices on your LAN for intuitive mouse-operated PTZ control. Customize and automate via the open ZowieAPI. Remotely manage everything through the browser-based ZowieUI to monitor feeds, adjust settings, and update firmware.
